This is a small chapel for adoration of the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ.
It is a place of deep peace, with no conversation or noise, so that everyone can pray and reflect in their heart.
PERSONAL PRAYER
People come here to read the Bible, to pray the Rosary, or simply to sit in silence before Jesus, telling Him their troubles and thanking Him. The faithful adore in silence and stillness, reconciling themselves with God.
A UNIQUE PLACE
This chapel gives St Gaspar del Bufalo Parish and Pilgrimage Centre a great distinction: it is the only centre for adoration of the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ in all of Tanzania and Africa.
WHAT IS ADORATION?
To adore is to acknowledge God as God, and to give Him honour, love and thanksgiving. In this chapel we adore Jesus Christ, who redeemed us by His Precious Blood shed on the Cross, and who is truly present in the Holy Eucharist.
HOW TO VISIT
• Enter quietly, and kneel or bow in reverence before the Lord.
• Switch off your phone or set it to silent, and avoid conversation inside the chapel.
• Spend your time in prayer: read the Bible, pray the Rosary or the Rosary of the Precious Blood, or simply rest in silence before the Lord.
• Pray for others too: your family, the sick and our parish.
• While you are here, visit the Vituo vya Hija (pilgrimage stations) in the parish grounds as well.
• Leave quietly so as not to disturb others at prayer.
